Gehan Rajapakse

Developed a love for the jungles at a very early age as most school holidays were spent traveling to places such as Wilpattu and Yala. Early interest was also fostered at Trinity College where environmental studies included nature walks to the Udawattakele forest that was situated just behind the school. Its is not just the wildlife but the tranquility and beauty that rural Sri Lanka offers that is attractive and compels frequent travel.

Holds a degree in economics from the Colombo University and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants UK. Presently works at Eagle Insurance plc in the area of investments. Is a committee member of the Wildlife and Nature Protection Society of Sri Lanka.
